Previous artist

Saga Sandström — her art is colorful, groundbreaking, political and a bit vulgar. She works in both larger and smaller scales around artworks with both superficial and deep messages. Drawing and painting was the start for her artistic career and when it comes to glassblowing she is pretty much self-taught. She likes to test herself and see what is possible and how far she can push the limits of the glass.

The inspiration for the series “Personality” comes from the stereotypical ideals of what a woman should be like to be considered an attractive feminine person, according to the norm. "Personality" is a series that depicts personality traits Saga finds in herself and that she believes doesn’t fit into society's view of women.
